Your newborn lies flat and secure in the carrycot at first, travels safely in the Tulip in the car, and can be transferred between the car and the stroller while asleep, without waking up. The seat unit then accompanies you up to 22 kg—roughly until your child’s fourth birthday.

Salsa 5 Air stroller – our most all-terrain model
Whether it’s a forest trail, gravel road, cobblestone street, or uneven park path—the Salsa 5 Air takes you and your child over any terrain. This is made possible by its large, air-filled tires and top-of-the-line suspension with independent front suspension and additional rear suspension: Bumps are gently absorbed, ensuring a smooth and quiet ride for your child. The swiveling front wheels make it highly maneuverable—off-road, you can simply lock them in place for a particularly stable ride.
The included seat unit attaches to the frame with a single click. Its soft, breathable comfort seat pad provides extra support, while the mesh ventilation window in the backrest ensures a comfortable seating environment at all times. The spacious, extendable canopy with UV protection 50+ also features a mesh window—and a foldable sun canopy that can be folded forward when the sun is low, providing extra shade.
When your little explorer is tired from discovering the world, you can adjust the backrest all the way to a lie-flat position. Your child is optimally secured with the innovative HappyBelt® 5-point harness system: The magnetic fastening and the front-accessible, infinitely adjustable harness adjustment make buckling up a breeze, while the slightly protruding shoulder straps make it easier for you to place your child in the seat. You can adjust the height-adjustable handlebar to suit either parent with a single hand movement. Since the seat unit can be used up to 22 kg—which is generally until around age four—the Salsa 5 Air will be with you for many years.
You can conveniently operate the parking brake with your foot. For transport, the Salsa 5 Air folds up and can be stowed in the trunk—and when you’re in a hurry, you can fold it up even with the seat unit attached, whether the seat is facing you or forward.
Carrycot with CozyCloud® mattress – a flat lying position from day one
The carrycot included in the set makes the Salsa 5 Air ready for use right from birth. Your newborn lies flat and ergonomically on the soft CozyCloud® mattress—ideal for healthy baby sleep, with the head, spine, and hips supported in the best possible way. This way, you’re fully equipped for the first few months without having to buy a carrycot separately.
Tulip i-Size Infant Car Seat – Safe on the Road
The Tulip i-Size infant car seat is included in the set for car rides—from birth to approximately 15 months (up to a maximum of 13 kg)—and is tested to the current highest safety standard, ECE R129 (i-Size), including integrated side-impact protection. From the very first trip home from the hospital, your baby will ride safely, comfortably, and relaxed. The car seat is installed as a rear-facing car seat in the direction of travel. In the car, you simply secure the Tulip using your vehicle’s 3-point seat belt. If you’d like even more convenience, add the 360° rotatable Isofix Base Root (optionally available separately)—this makes it especially easy to secure and remove the infant carrier and allows you to comfortably turn your baby toward the door.
Using the Maxi-Cosi adapters included in the set, you can securely click the infant car seat onto the Salsa 5 Air frame, turning the stroller into a practical travel system. By the way, you can also attach compatible Maxi-Cosi infant car seats using these same adapters. If your baby has fallen asleep in the car, you can simply transfer them—car seat and all—without waking them up.

With the integrated ABC Design Universal Fix mount, accessories such as a changing bag, cup holder, or light can be attached to the stroller with a single click.
