What are the differences between Ping 3 Trekking and Ping 2 Trekking?

Breathable backrest with large mesh window
On warm summer days, it's almost impossible to prevent your child from sweating on their back. The new Ping 3 Trekking offers a solution for this too. The backrest is equipped with a large mesh window for ideal air circulation. This ensures that moisture is effectively wicked away or minimized in advance. On really hot summer days, your child can also sit directly on the seat and leave the additional seat insert at home.
Extended sun canopy with fold-out sun visor
With the Ping 3 Trekking, you benefit from an extended sun canopy. Not only can you fold out the canopy, but you also have an additional sun visor at the front. You can fold this in and out as needed. Especially in extreme light conditions, such as low evening sun, this offers considerable added value for you and your child.
Ventilation window with mesh on the sun canopy
The Ping 3 Trekking has an additional window in the sun canopy. The opening becomes visible when the canopy is unfolded. On the one hand, this allows you to keep an eye on your pet at all times. On the other hand, it provides additional ventilation, especially in summer. You can also close the window at any time using a fabric cover.
Comfort seat cover (multi-piece & removable)
The Ping 3 Trekking comes with our new comfort seat cover. The multi-piece seat cover makes the seat even more comfortable and easier to clean. The cover provides more lateral support in both the head and seat areas. The seat cover is also available in many other colors and designs as accessories, so you can customize your Ping 3 Trekking. Unfortunately, the new covers no longer fit the older Ping 2.
HappyBelt® 5-point belt system with magnetic closure
Starting with the 2025 collection, the Ping 3 is equipped with our new HappyBelt® harness system. This makes getting in and out much more comfortable. You can now adjust the belt quickly and easily. The belts are all slightly raised from the seat, making it very easy to get in. The belt buckle is equipped with a magnet, so you can close it easily and reliably with one hand. With the Ping 2, buckling up was much more complicated and you always needed two hands.
Opaque & sturdy shopping basket with plenty of storage space
The Buggy Ping 3 Trekking now comes with an improved shopping basket. The mesh fabric has been replaced with a sturdy, opaque fabric cover. This provides better protection for the contents from prying eyes and keeps everything dry for longer in the rain.
