What are the differences between Samba 2 and Samba?

Breathable backrest with large mesh window
On warm summer days, it's almost impossible to prevent your child from sweating on their back. The new Samba 2 offers a solution for this too. The backrest is equipped with a large mesh window for ideal air circulation. This ensures that moisture is effectively wicked away or minimized in advance. On really hot summer days, your child can also sit directly on the seat and leave the additional seat insert at home.
Comfort seat cover (multi-piece & removable)
The Samba 2 comes with our new comfort seat cover. The multi-piece cover makes the sports seat even more comfortable and easier to clean. The seat cushion offers more lateral support in both the head and seat areas. The seat cover is also available in many other colors and designs as accessories, allowing you to customize your Samba 2. Unfortunately, the new seat covers are not compatible with the previous Samba model.
Extended sun canopy with fold-out sun visor
With the Samba 2, you benefit from an extended sun canopy on the sports seat. Not only can you fold out the canopy, but you also have an additional sun visor at the very front. You can fold this in or out as required. This offers considerable added value for you and your child, especially in extreme light conditions, such as when the sun is low in the evening.
HappyBelt® 5-point belt system with magnetic closure
Starting with the 2025 collection, the Samba 2 is equipped with our new HappyBelt® harness system. This makes getting in and out much more comfortable. The slightly protruding shoulder straps are no longer in the way. You can now adjust the belt length in just a few seconds. The belt buckle is equipped with a magnet. You can close it easily and reliably with one hand. With the previous Samba model, fastening the belt was much more complicated and you always needed two hands.
Additional attachment points for accessories on the protective bar
Previously, there was only one attachment point for accessories in the seat area on the frame. This meant you always had to decide whether to attach the sunshade or the cup holder to your Samba 2. With the Samba 2, you now get two additional attachment points on the bumper bar. Now you can use current and future accessories at the same time and flexibly. Just as you need it.
Privacy-protected shopping basket with closable cover
The large shopping basket on the Samba 2 can now be closed. The practical cover can be opened and closed using two zippers. This protects the contents of your basket from prying eyes and unauthorized access. On the previous Samba model, the basket was completely open at the top.
Carrycot with new folding system on the underside
Our new carrycot is now even easier to fold up. There are two levers on the underside that you can use to easily unlock the carrycot and then press it together. Thanks to the redesigned connecting parts on the side, the carrycot is now also significantly flatter. With the old carrycot, you had to remove the mattress and unlock the two metal brackets to fold it. This is no longer necessary and is much more convenient. The carrycot is not included with the Samba 2 and is available as accessories.
Baby carrycot with one-hand operation for canopy
When you are holding your baby in your arms, you can now easily fold back the canopy of the carrycot with your other hand. To do this, briefly press the button on each side to unlock the canopy adjustment mechanism. With the previous model, you had to press the release buttons simultaneously, which is not possible with one hand. You will love this added convenience in everyday use.
