Salsa 5 Air 4-in-1 Complete Set, including Tulip infant car seat & ISOFIX base – ideal for off-road use from birth through age 4
A set that truly has it all—for families who love getting out into nature: From the first day at the hospital through preschool age, you won’t need to buy anything else. The Salsa 5 Air 4-in-1 stroller set combines our most off-road-capable stroller with a seat unit, the cozy carrycot for the first few months, the i-Size Tulip infant car seat for the car, and the swiveling ISOFIX Base Root—all components perfectly coordinated. Thanks to large air-filled wheels and top-of-the-line suspension, the Salsa 5 Air glides smoothly over cobblestones, gravel, and forest and field paths. Your newborn lies flat and secure in the carrycot at first, travels safely in the car in the Tulip, and can be transferred between the car and the stroller while asleep, without waking up. After that, the seat unit will accompany you up to 22 kg—roughly until your child’s fourth birthday.
Your benefits at a glance:
- A true 4-in-1 complete set: stroller + carrycot + Tulip i-Size infant car seat + Isofix Base Root—everything perfectly coordinated, no need to buy anything extra.
- Truly all-terrain: large air-filled wheels and top-of-the-line suspension—glides smoothly over cobblestones, gravel, and forest and field paths.
- Ready to go from birth: Carrycot with CozyCloud® mattress for a flat, healthy lying position from day one.
- Safe in the car: Tulip i-Size infant car seat (ECE R129) with a 360° rotatable Isofix Base Root—the matching Maxi-Cosi adapters are included.
- Seamless transition: Transfer your sleeping baby from the car to the frame without waking them.
- Long-lasting: The seat unit can be used up to 22 kg—which usually lasts until around your child’s fourth birthday.
Salsa 5 Air stroller—our most all-terrain model
Whether it’s a forest trail, gravel path, cobblestone street, or uneven park path—the Salsa 5 Air takes you and your child over any terrain. This is made possible by its large, air-filled tires and top-of-the-line suspension with independent front suspension and additional rear suspension: Bumps are gently absorbed, ensuring a smooth and quiet ride for your child. The swiveling front wheels make it highly maneuverable—off-road, you can simply lock them in place for a particularly stable ride.
The included seat unit attaches to the frame with a single click. Its soft, breathable comfort seat pad provides extra support, while the mesh ventilation window in the backrest ensures a comfortable seating environment at all times. The spacious, extendable canopy with UV protection 50+ also features a mesh window—and a foldable sun canopy that can be folded forward when the sun is low to provide extra shade.
When your little explorer is tired from discovering the world, you can adjust the backrest all the way to a lie-flat position. Your child is optimally secured with the innovative HappyBelt® 5-point harness system: The magnetic fastening and the front-accessible, infinitely adjustable harness adjustment make buckling up a breeze, while the slightly protruding shoulder straps make it easier for you to place your child in the seat. You can adjust the height-adjustable handlebar to suit either parent with a single hand movement. Since the seat unit can be used up to 22 kg—which is generally until around age four—the Salsa 5 Air will be with you for many years.
You can conveniently operate the parking brake with your foot. For transport, the Salsa 5 Air folds up and can be stowed in the trunk—and when you’re in a hurry, you can fold it up even with the seat unit attached, whether the seat is facing you or forward.
Carrycot with CozyCloud® mattress – a flat lying position from day one
The carrycot included in the set makes the Salsa 5 Air ready for use right from birth. Your newborn lies flat and ergonomically on the soft CozyCloud® mattress—ideal for healthy baby sleep, with the head, spine, and hips supported in the best possible way. This way, you’re fully equipped for the first few months without having to buy a carrycot separately.
Tulip i-Size Infant Car Seat & Isofix Base Root – Safe on the Road
The Tulip i-Size infant car seat is included in the set for car rides—from birth to approximately 15 months (up to a maximum of 13 kg)—and is certified to the current highest safety standard, ECE R129 (i-Size), including integrated side-impact protection. From the very first trip home from the hospital, your baby will ride safely, comfortably, and relaxed. The car seat is installed as a rear-facing car seat in the direction of travel. The 360° rotatable Isofix Base Root is also included: It makes securing and removing the infant carrier especially easy, and you can comfortably turn your baby toward the door instead of having to lean into the car. Alternatively, you can secure the Tulip using your vehicle’s 3-point seat belt.
Using the Maxi-Cosi adapters included in the set, you can securely click the infant car seat onto the Salsa 5 Air frame, turning the stroller into a practical travel system. By the way, you can also use these same adapters to attach compatible Maxi-Cosi infant car seats. If your baby falls asleep in the car, you can simply transfer them—car seat and all—without waking them up.
Thoughtfully Designed Down to the Last Detail
With the integrated ABC Design Universal Fix mount, accessories such as a changing bag, cup holder, or light can be attached to the stroller with a single click. Thanks to the parking brake, 5-point harness system, transport lock, and detachable wheels, you’ll be on the go with optimal safety over any terrain—no matter where your adventure takes you.
With the Salsa 5 Air 4-in-1 Set, you have everything you’ll need for the first four years right at your fingertips: coordinated, safe, and ready to go from day one.

Find out more about the differences
At home anywhere thanks to air wheels
For city runabouts & nature lovers: The swivel air wheels of the Salsa 5 Air all-terrain Stroller ensure unique riding comfort on all surfaces. Discover the world with your child without compromising on comfort or mobility.
Gentle & safe: suspension in a class of its own
With the first-class suspension of the Salsa 5 Air, your child will enjoy maximum comfort on any terrain. Whether forest paths, parks or asphalt - the special suspension compensates for any unevenness. Perfect for walks and restful sleep on the go.
Carrycot with extra handling comfort
The folding mechanism of the tub is accessible from the outside. You can fold it to save space using the sliders on the underbody. The sun canopy is also easy to handle. Thanks to the memory function, you can release the canopy holders one after the other and adjust it effortlessly.
Reliable sun protection on the go
An extra-large UV protection 50+ sun canopy, which can also be extended with a folding roof when the sun is low, provides optimum protection for your child. The integrated ventilation window made of high-quality mesh also ensures pleasant air circulation.
Comfort for every size
You can adjust the handlebar of the Salsa 5 Air to fit your height. Without the rear axle, it also offers you more legroom—a benefit that taller parents in particular will appreciate. Optimal pushing comfort with every step.
Packmeister: XXL shopping basket
With the extra-large XXL shopping basket, you'll have plenty of room for groceries, baby items, and more. With a weight capacity of up to 10 kg, it's the perfect companion—and it's easy to load and unload. Enjoy freedom and flexibility on every outing.
Seat with a feel-good factor
The Salsa 5 Air's seat features an ergonomic comfort insert. The soft padding, made of breathable material, provides comfortable support and, together with the ventilation window in the backrest, ensures a comfortable seating experience.
Safe harnessing made easy
The innovative HappyBelt® 5-point belt system combines safety with comfort. Protruding shoulder straps, a buckle with a magnetic closure, and the continuously adjustable harness—accessible from the front—make it easy to securely fasten your child into the seat.
Maximum sitting and sleeping comfort
Even little explorers get tired. That’s why the backrest is adjustable so you can tailor it to your child’s needs. Depending on the situation, you can choose between an upright sitting position, a relaxed resting position, or a flat reclining position while on the go.
High-quality and durable design
The versatile Salsa 5 Air is sturdy and performs well on any surface. Its maximum load capacity of 32 kg is a testament to its durability. Children weighing up to 22 kg can ride on it with ease, and the shopping basket can hold up to 10 kg.
