What are the differences between the Salsa 5 Run and the Salsa Run?

Breathable backrest with large mesh window
On warm summer days, it's almost impossible to prevent your child from sweating on their back. The new Salsa 5 Run offers a solution for this too. The backrest is equipped with a large mesh window for ideal air circulation. This ensures that moisture is effectively wicked away or minimized in advance. On really hot summer days, your child can also sit directly on the seat and leave the additional seat insert at home.
Comfort Seat Liner (multi-piece & removable)
The Salsa 5 Run comes with our new comfort seat liner. The multi-piece liner makes the seat even more comfortable and easier to clean. Both the head and seat areas offer additional side support. Plus, the liner is available in many other colors and designs as an accessory, allowing you to personalize your Salsa to your taste. Please note that the new liners are not compatible with the previous Salsa Run model.
Additional attachment points for accessories on the protective bar
Previously, there was only one attachment point for accessories in the seat area on the frame. This meant you always had to decide whether you wanted to attach the sunshade or the cup holder to your Salsa 5 Run. The new Salsa 5 Run now has two additional attachment points on the bumper bar. Now you can use current and future accessories at the same time and flexibly. Just as you need it.
Carrycot with new folding system on the underside
The optional carrycot from the Salsa 5 Run is now even easier to fold up. There are two levers on the underside that allow you to easily unlock the carrycot and then fold it down. Thanks to the redesigned connecting parts on the side, the carrycot is now also significantly flatter. With the old carrycot, you had to remove the mattress and unlock the two metal brackets to fold it down. This is no longer necessary and is much more convenient.
Baby carrycot with one-hand operation for canopy
When you are holding your baby in your arms, you can now easily fold back the canopy of the new carrycot with your other hand. To do this, briefly press the button on each side to unlock the canopy adjustment. With the previous model, the release buttons had to be pressed simultaneously, which is not possible with one hand. You will love this added convenience in everyday life.
